Puro Body and Soul is a company which almost feels like a fairytale story. It is a story of how if you dream big enough you can make miracles come true.
Puro Body & Soul is the brand name for a charitable organisation called Shramik Naari Sangh (Sa-Ni-Sa). This organisation supports underprivileged women and helps them earn an income.
These women have been trained to produce handcrafted bath and body care products. I just was so impressed by how this organisation is empowering women and giving them a voice. I wanted to support their cause and hence I purchased a whole set of handmade soaps made by these women.
There is something romantic about handmade soaps and I was waiting eagerly for my soaps. I was also afraid that the impulse buy might disappoint me. This is my review of one soap.

Fragrance
I am so excited that the soap has no artificial fragrance whatsoever. It had a strong smell (a bit too strong for me). I am thinking it was the combined smell of all the oils it had which made it so intense.
Puro Body & Soul Whitening Saffron & Sandalwood Handmade Soap Review
This is the first time I have used this soap. I was surprised at how transparent the soap was. I could see my fingers through the soap. You know just like the red pears soap..
To be honest I wasn’t expecting any lather or foam of any kind and so I kind of wet the soap a bit too much. It lathers so well and foams. Actually it soaps better than the soaps in the market.
The soap has a strong fragrance, really intense. I had washed my hands using it and as I am typing this review out I can smell that lingering fragrance. My hands smell of that fragrance and I am satisfied knowing that it is all natural. No chemical fragrances to harm my skin and body.
I has left my hands feeling soft and supple. I am excited to use it for a few more days and check if still keeps my hands soft and moist. I will update here when I get to that point. I also am eager to check how many days will the soap last.
