Organic Skin Care Brands List India

Paraben free and Chemical free products were reacting with my skin. I did not understand the reason why. I was under the assumption that if it was paraben free and sulphate free, I am safe.

I was very wrong. Paraben free just means they don’t have paraben, but it also means that they have a harmful replacement. So I moved onto organic products. Organic Skin care brands list has been compiled by me and this is a work in progress. Come back often as this list will keep growing.

Organic Skin Care Brands List India has those brands which are truly organic. To get certified as Organic the brand has to use produce ( like say Neem) which was grown on soil which has been pesticide free for 3 years minimum. There should be no artificial preservatives and synthetic fragrances.

The companies listed here are certified as Organic by ECOCERT or USDA Organic or  NPOP National Programme for Organic Production.

  1. Thank you for describing what exactly is meant by organic products. But I feel the products of such organic brands are way to costly for everyone to use them.

    1. Hey Poonam yes I feel the label organic just means expensive at times. To get eco-certified it costs money. Also for the products to be certified as organic they need to ensure the soil has no pollutants or pesticides for a couple of years, hence the added cost is from source. I honestly believe once consumers get educated and more of us start making purchases, the prices should drop.

  2. I agree, so much of chemicals are getting loaded. Many of these products are more harmful than these are suppose to useful. We need to be careful and organic is the order of the day and there are companies diligently working towards coming with eco-friendly products. This is very useful post and you have touched on the important aspects.
