This is the basic chair. It has no neck support and is actually one of the most used chairs. It is durable, has mesh so your back feels cool.

The usual problems with chairs they get too hot.

This particular brand has mesh instead of padding which keeps the body cool.

It has a curve in the backrest that perfectly aligns with the back.

The recline resistance helps provide comfort. Most chairs easily recline when you sit down while this one doesn’t. There is resistance but it isn’t stiff which again is comfortable.

The seat height on this particular chair can move from around 17 inches from the floor to around 21 inches.

This provides around 4 inches of travel and should be suitable for all heights.

The arm rest goes from around 7 1/2 inches from the seat to about 10 1/2 inches. This gives us around 3 inches

The back portion of the chair goes up in 5 clicks that provides around 2 and half inches of travel.

The seats are curved. You have the ability to slide the seat in and out. This allows you to recline.

There are 3 lock positions for so that you can lock in the recline. You wont get a full recline but its just enough for when you are working.

This chair is very comfortable especcially if you have wider thighs. /many reviewers said as compared to the Herman Miller this chair was more comfortable.

In the other brand chairs the frame would dig into the bottom of the leg. The curvature of the seat and the mesh make the Quantum 9000 very comfortable.

Many reviewers mentioned thye have been using this chair for 7 to 12 years and it still doesn’t creak, or make sounds.

This is what people using it for office work find very attractive.

The chair comes in two different versions.

One version has a bottom mesh and a back mesh. The other version has a seat pad for the bottom while the back is a mesh.

The casters or rollers which come with the chair are okay for most people.

Some don’t like them and they prefer the rollers changed. The rollers work fine or very thin carpet or non carpeted floors. If you have thick carpeting and the rollers don’t move easily or if you don’t want your hardwood floors scratched then get rollers.
